Content Play is a marketing operations company. We provide the tactical execution layer that turns the strategies and plans you sell into work your clients can actually see. Available white labelled or grey labelled, whichever suits how you sell.
You are good at the thinking. The positioning work is sound, the plan is signed off, and the client is nodding.
Then the plan has to become things. Posts, articles, carousels, a cadence that holds for months rather than weeks. That work is relentless, it does not scale with you, and it usually depends on a client executive finding an hour they do not have for something important and never urgent.
You may already have tried the two obvious answers. Hiring for execution only pays back at a volume a handful of clients will not give you. Subcontracting piece by piece turns you into a project manager working at cost.
Content Play is built for that gap. We are the operations layer underneath your strategy: a standing production capability you can point at a client on Monday without adding a body to your business.
The client sees your brand, your invoice and your people. Content Play does not appear anywhere. We work to your brief, in your naming conventions, and everything comes back to you to release.
Best when: execution is part of what you already sell and you want it to look like capability you own.
We are named as your production arm. The client knows there is a specialist doing the making, which explains your capacity without you having to justify a headcount you do not have.
Best when: you would rather be transparent, or the client is large enough to ask who is doing the work.
Execution is usually something an agency absorbs or subcontracts at cost. It does not have to be.
Partners tend to run it one of three ways: as an included component that makes a retainer stickier, as a separately sold execution package, or as a referral where we contract the client directly and the partner stays in the middle as the strategist. Chances are one of those already fits how you sell.
Terms are worked out with each partner rather than set from a rate card, because the right shape depends on which of those you are doing and how you charge today. Come and talk to us and we will work it out in one conversation.
A structured 30 minute conversation with the client’s expert, every month or two. We ask the questions. They talk. Nothing is set as homework, which is why it actually happens.
LinkedIn posts, carousels, infographics, quote cards and articles, built from what they said. It carries their expertise rather than generic AI filler assembled off the internet.
We tune the voice with you at the start, then review, schedule and publish to the cadence in the plan. The client shows up to answer comments, which is the one part nobody can do for them.
You see what went out and what it did, in a form you can take into the client conversation. That conversation stays yours to have.
The engine underneath is the same one we run for our own clients: an interview pipeline, a content rules system per brand so voice holds across months, production, scheduling and reporting. You are buying a working operation rather than a freelancer roster.
This only works if you can introduce us without wondering what happens next, so it is worth being plain about it.
We do not sell strategy into your client. We do not pitch retainers, run parallel relationships, or quietly expand scope. If your client asks us for something outside the brief, we tell you.
The division is the whole point. Strategy, positioning and the client relationship are yours. Operations are ours. Content on social is the highway, articles and longer work are the layers above it, and all of it has to lead back to a strategy somebody owns. That somebody is you.
You sell the thinking and the plan. Execution is the part clients keep asking for and the part that does not scale with the way you charge.
You have strategy and design in-house. Interview-led content for a dozen individual experts is a different production line, and not one worth building.
You sit inside two or three businesses a week. You need execution that runs without you in the room and reports back in a form you can use.
You act as the outsourced marketing manager for several clients. Production is the piece that caps how many you can carry.
Most of our work sits with accounting, advisory, legal, financial planning, engineering, property and finance firms. If that is your client base, you get a partner who already speaks the language and does not need the sector explained.
Compliance literacy is built into the workflow rather than bolted on, so posts for financial planners do not read as unlicensed advice and posts for lawyers do not read as legal advice. If a draft coming back covered in red has ever been the reason a programme stalled, that is worth a conversation on its own.
The operating model is not sector specific. If your clients sit elsewhere and the execution gap is the same one, it is still worth talking.
The fastest way to judge an execution partner is to watch them work. We run a free thirty minute lunch and learn for people carrying marketing inside professional services firms, and there is one coming up. You are welcome to sit in on it as a partner rather than a prospect, and to see the production standard and the way we handle a room before you put us anywhere near a client of yours. The event page carries the date of the next session and takes about ten seconds to register.
If you would rather go straight to it, book a call and I will walk you through what white label and grey label each involve in practice, how the terms usually work, and what we would need from you to take a client on. It is a short conversation and there is no obligation at the end of it. Happy to help either way.
